CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY

FLIGHTS

  • Every booking made on iamtraveller Travel Services is subject to cancellation charges levied by the airline, which may vary by flight and booking class
  • Some booked fares may be non-refundable per the specific airline's policy
  • Online cancellations: Cancellations can be made online by My Account
  • Offline cancellations: We also accept cancellation requests through phone
  • iamtraveller Travel Services cancellation charges: In addition to the airline cancellation charges, iamtraveller Travel Services will charge Rs 500 per passenger per sector for each cancellation
  • For e-tickets, (A) if your cancellation request is made less than 6 hours before departure, you'll need to contact the airline directly to get your reservation canceled. We will not be able to provide any assistance for these cancellations and (B) if your cancellation request is made less than 24 hours before departure, you'll need to contact our customer care executive through telephone. The request through any other medium will not be entertained.
  • If you have done a 'Web/Tele Check-in' with the airline, get in touch with the airline for cancellation. iamtraveller Travel Services will not be able to process the refund for the same and will not take any responsibility for the same
  • To cancel the tickets over the phone, call the 24x7 customer care numbers +91-7340031244
  • Some booked fares may be non-refundable per the specific airline's policy. There will no refund in such cases
  • On top of the airline's cancellation charges, iamtraveller Travel Services charges a service fee of Rs 649 per passenger per sector.
  • In case of international flight, all cancellations should be done at least 48 hrs (2 days) prior to the departure date. Certain airlines do not allow any changes or cancellation within 48 hrs and treat the booking as a "No Show"
  • For e-tickets, if your cancellation request is made less than 48 hours prior to departure, you'll need to contact our customer support team: +91-7340031244 (local call from any phone)
  • If you have done a 'Web/Tele Check-in' with the airline, get in touch with the airline for cancellation. iamtraveller Travel Services will not be able to process the refund for the same and will not take any responsibility for the same
  • To cancel the tickets offline, call the customer care numbers 07340031244between 9 AM to 9 PM, 7 days a week
  • Air Arabia Tiger Airways and Scoot Airlines bookings, cannot be canceled with us. For cancellation, please contact the airline directly and it is subject to airline's terms and conditions
  • It is mandatory to contact iamtraveller Travel Services for all refunds, as the airline will not be able to refund your tickets booked at iamtraveller.co.in
  • All cancellations made directly with the Airline need to be intimated to iamtraveller Travel Services by Email or Phone in order to initiate the refunds process
  • Processing times for cancellation and refund requests vary. Generally, it takes 2 days to 7 days to process the refund.
  • Convenience fees, if any, paid at the time of booking is a non-refundable fee and same shall be applicable on all cancellations including any partial cancellation requests
  • The refund will be credited back to the same account from where the payment was made. For example, if the User used a credit card, the Company will make an appropriate charge reversal. If the User used a debit card, the Company will credit the money back to the debit card
  • On the event of cancellation and refund of partially utilized tickets upfront discount and promo code discount availed at the time of booking would be deducted from the refund amount
  • In case, where the user has canceled his/her booking directly with the airlines, he/she will need to inform Company with valid documentation to initiate the refund process. It is advisable to contact Company within 48 hours of the cancellation request
  • The meal amount is non-refundable. (Refundable only if the flight is canceled by the airlines)
  • Company will be able to initiate customer's refund only after receipt and/or confirmation of a refund from the airline.
  • Refund for partially utilized tickets (for eg:- only one sector has flown & another sector has canceled) may take a minimum of 25 to 30 working days up to 6 months depending on the Airline.
  • In case of Partial Payment,
  1. the remaining amount should reflect in our account as on due date suggested to you while booking the tickets
  2. Partial Payment Bookings are confirmed and ticket details would be mailed to you once your payment is received and realized in full. In the event of non-receipt of the balance payment within a stipulated time, the reservation will be auto-canceled and the guarantee amount paid will be forfeited
  3. Until the payment is realized in full, should there be an increase in airfare or taxes, the same will be intimated and charged to you
  4. Until the payment is realized in full, the booking is subject to cancellation by the airline or Iamtraveller Travel Services.com without prior notice
  5. If the payment is not approved on a given credit card number(s), you will be notified as soon as possible. In such a scenario you need to speak to the credit card company or provide the alternate credit card number, or change mode of payment as applicable.

 

HOTELS

  • Cancellation and prepayment policies vary according to room type. Please check the Fare policy associated with your room
  • Every booking made on iamtraveller Travel Services is subject to cancellation charges levied by the hotel/motel/resort, which may vary by flight and booking class
  • Cancellations can be made online by My Account
  • The Cancellation Policies of the Hotels are dynamic and may change from time to time. The Cancellation policy of the Hotel may change in the interim period of booking and date of stay of the Guest. The Cancellation Policy prevailing at the time of check-in/cancellation of the booking by the Customer will be the applicable policy
  • Hotels being booked may have their own cancellation policy and may charge user accordingly
  • iamtraveller Travel Services cancellation charges: In addition to the hotel cancellation charges, iamtraveller Travel Services will charge Rs 499 per traveller per sector for each cancellation
  • In the event of cancellation, the money shall be debited from your credit card directly by the Hotel as per Cancellation Policy of the Hotel
  • On cancellation of bookings done using promotional codes, the hotel cancellation charges are calculated on total price before discount. For such bookings, an additional iamtraveller Travel Services cancellation charge of 15% or Rs.1000, whichever is minimum will be deducted from the refund amount after applying the hotel cancellation policy. For MeraNiwas bookings, iamtraveller Travel Services cancellation charge of 50% will be deducted.
  • Cancellations can be done online as well through our call-center
  • Only those cancellation requests which are made either online or on the phone to our customer support team shall be entertained. The Company shall not be liable to entertain any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel without intimating the Company and also through any other medium including, but not limited to, SMS or e-mail
  • If you don't show up at the hotel, you'll still be charged the entire amount and hotel will debit the amount from your card directly
  • In certain cases and circumstances, if the Hotel, where iamtraveller has confirmed the accommodation for you, declines the availability to you, at the time of check-in for any reason whatsoever, iamtraveller Travel Services shall be liable for the following, which is in an all-inclusive list for options/ remedies to be provided by iamtraveller Travel Services to you in such cases:
  1. iamtraveller Travel Services shall not charge any cancellation/ retention fee. The charges paid by the customer to iamtraveller Travel Services will be adjusted towards providing an alternative accommodation if arranged by iamtraveller Travel Services. In case the customer makes alternative arrangements on his own accord, then the charges paid by the customer to iamtraveller Travel Services for the booking for which the Hotel has declined to provide accommodation will be refunded by iamtraveller Travel Services without any deduction and plus 1% of the total booking amount. 
  2. To arrange alternate Hotel accommodation in the same vicinity/location of similar category.
  3. Further, if the alternate Hotel accommodation arranged by iamtraveller Travel Services is at a higher rate than the original rate so paid by the customer for the former Hotel accommodation, iamtraveller Travel Services shall bear the difference of amount to be paid to the latter Hotel
  4. Travel from the former Hotel to the latter shall be arranged by the iamtraveller Travel Services
  5. All other terms and conditions shall remain the same, as applicable, and the same may vary from Hotel to Hotel.
  6. The rates do not include any other events organized on special occasions like New Year etc., and these charges are to be paid by the guest directly at the hotel.
  7. Any partial cancellations with respect to Bookings that have been made will not be honored by iamtraveller Travel Services
  • In case of Modifications & Refunds, the following are the terms & conditions
  • The company do not accept amendment request to the hotel reservation if the check-in is within 48 Hours
  • All the refunds shall be done by the Hotel directly to you and the Company is not responsible for ensuring any refunds whatsoever
  • Your bank may debit its own separate charges from refunds made to your credit card or bank account.

BUS

  • Cancellation and prepayment policies vary according to bus type
  • Every booking made on iamtraveller Travel Services is subject to cancellation charges levied by the bus operator, which may vary by flight and booking class
  • Cancellations can be made online by My Account
  • iamtraveller.co.in will process the ticket cancellation request from customers subject to the cancellation and refund policy of the respective bus operator. The cancellation fee may differ for each bus operator
  • iamtraveller Travel Services cancellation charges: In addition to the bus cancellation charges, iamtraveller Travel Services will charge Rs 299 per traveller per sector for each cancellation
  • Once the ticket is partially canceled or open ticket (pre-pone/postpone), further cancellations are not allowed
  • If ticket confirmation/cancellation, SMS/Email, is not received, it can be resent by our support team upon request. SMS/Email might fail to deliver or get delayed for several reasons which are not in via.com control
  • The cancellation charges are deducted from the collected/discounted fare and the balance is refunded
  • Partial cancellation option is provided based on the terms and conditions of the bus operators. Only some of the operators accept Partial Cancellation
  • In case of ticket cancellation, the Insurance amount is non-refundable
  • Service Fee/GST is non-refundable for Ticket Cancellation/Service Cancellation
  • For any queries/refunds related to Trip Cancellation, please contact our customer support on or before 07 days from your travel date, after 07 days you will not be able to claim anything
  • Refunds for failed transactions will be automatically credited to respective PoS (Point of Sales) within 14 to 21 working days. If a refund is not received, users are requested to send email to refund@iamtraveller.co.in
  • The refund will be processed to respective PoS (Point of Sales). In case of payment made through debit/credit card, might take 14 to 21 working days to appear in your bank account/statement.
  • In case of any urgent cancellation, please send an email minimum 24 hours before scheduled departure time to buscancellations@yatra.com and we will confirm its status within 24 hours.
  • A cancellation fee of INR 120 will be a charge for each ticket

HOLIDAY

  • Every booking made on iamtraveller Travel Services is subject to cancellation charges levied by us or the tour operator, which may vary by flight and booking class
  • Some booked fares may be non-refundable per the specific service provider (airline/bus operator/hotel) policy
  • Cancellations can be made online by My Account
  • You or any member of your group may cancel their travel arrangements at any time. The cancellation charges applicable are as per the published at iamtraveller.co.in/cancellation& refund policy
  • Cancellation charges per person
  • 30 days or more before departure : 35% of the total cost
  • 29 – 19 days before departure: 70% of the total cost
  • Less than 18 days before departure : 100% of the total cost
  • If in any unavoidable circumstances we change or cancel your holiday then:
  1. We do plan the arrangements in advance. It is unlikely that we will have to make any changes to your travel arrangement
  2. Occasionally, we may have to make changes and we reserve the right to do so at any time. If there are any changes, we will advise you of them at the earliest possible date
  3. We also reserve the right under any circumstances to cancel your travel arrangements by assigning reasons to you
  4. If we are unable to provide the booked travel arrangements due to reasons beyond our control (e.g. bad weather). We shall first try to offer alternative dates for the tour if the tour hasn’t already commenced
  5. If the tour has already commenced, then we shall refund the booking price/fee charged to you on a pro-rata basis depending on the portion of the tour utilized by you
  6. In all circumstances, however, our liability shall be limited to refunding to you the price we charged as tour fees.
  • If you want to change your holiday plan, then after confirmation of services, if you wish to change your travel arrangements in any way (e.g. your chosen departure date or accommodation), we will do our utmost to make these changes but it may not always is possible. Any request for changes must be in writing from the person who made the booking. All cost incurred due to amendment will be borne by you
  • If you have a complaint and face any problem during your holiday, please inform the relevant supplier (e.g. your hotelier, transporter, etc.) and/or our representative immediately who will endeavor to set things right. If your complaint is not resolved locally, please follow this up within 28 days of your return home by writing to us, with your booking reference and all other relevant information. However, please be advised that while we are happy to assist you in the redressal of your complaint, if any, we will be able to extend only our best efforts in managing/coordinating your complaint with the respective service provider. All third party service providers are independent contractors who are at no time under our control or supervision.
  • All booking vouchers and tickets will be provided 2 days before departure.

PAYMENT MODE: You can choose from any of the following modes to make payment for your purchases on iamtraveller.co.in:

  • All Credit Cards or Debit Cards: Master Card, Visa Card, Discover, JCB, American Express, Diners Club cards and Maestro cards. 
  • Net banking: All the major banks. Details available at Checkout. 
  • PayPal (Transfer from PayPal Account or pay Via Credit Card/ Debit Card using PayPal) PayPal is only for international Payments
  • Bank Transfer/Wire Transfer: You can deposit the amount in our bank account the details of which as given as under:
